Creamsource Micro Colour Overview The Micro Color Gaffer Kit from Creamsource is built around a powerful RGBW variable color (2200 to 15,000K) LED fixture with a compact 11.8 x 13 x 4.3" form factor including the yoke. The kit includes the Micro Color fixture, a yoke, a multi-voltage power supply, a power header cable, a back mount for the PSU, and a 5/8" receiver. Also included is a gel frame, a soft padded case, and a wired remote Flexibility and expansive color control are at the heart of the Micro Color's design. Calibrated RGBW LEDs render literally millions of colors and a very wide variable color temperature range from a warm 2200K to an icy blue 15,000K allows you to match other fixtures, ambient light conditions, or just employ a creative effect. Dimming is continuously variable from 0-100%. Both functions are adjustable on the fixture or remotely via DMX or an optional remote control, while your settings are viewable on the graphic LCD display. The light's high-speed mode provides flicker-free performance over 5000 fps and there's a sync input for triggering and syncing to your camera's shutter. The light has a tight 20° beam angle, but 60 and 100° lenses are are also included. The Micro Color is seen but not heard. The unit's fanless convection cooling makes it ideal for sound-sensitive situations, and foul weather is no problem either thanks to the light's IP65 weatherproof rating. The fixture's 100-240 VAC power supply makes it ready for worldwide use but you can also run it on optional V-mount batteries with the provided plate for shooting in locations with no access to AC power. Micro Color Calibrated red, green, blue, and white LEDs (RGBW) - so as well as producing beautiful white light in any CCT from 2200 to 15,000K, it also has green/magenta adjustment and can produce vivid, saturated colors. The 20, 60, and 100° micro lenses allow for maximum utility. Fan-free cooling is deployed for silent operation, while the light is IP65 water resistant so it can be used in inclement weather. It is lightweight yet rugged, quick to rig, and its compact form factor means it can squeeze into small spaces on set.
